It was a pity that when we visited the castle, it’s a cloudy and rainy and therefore, everywhere was dark. But looking at the snow scene, it looked really nice. After visiting multiple castles here...

The building looks as if it is original, the give away is the elevator going all the way up to the fourth floor.

There is not much left of the actual castle but one tower was restored and gives a fantastic view of Akita City. There are also some maps and models of the castle on the second floor. It’s in the NW...
