Kushikatsu Daruma Tsutenkaku Branch
Kushiage/Kushikatsu Fried Skewer Cuisine
This is a specialist “Kushi Age” (deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables) restaurant almost directly below Osaka Tsutenkaku Tower. The big billboard of “Kushikatsu daruma” is the restaurant’s landmark. This is a long-established Kushi Age restaurant which has continued for four generations since it was established in 1929, and it is a popular restaurant which continues to have queues form outside as it has a flavor liked by the average person in Osaka. In addition to the counter seats in the store, there are also 16 table seats so you can enjoy coming in a group or coming with the family. The specially made sauce, fine coating and exquisite original oil is well balanced, and the flavors extracted from the raw ingredients are surprisingly light. The crunchy interior has a sticky food texture—even those people who do not like deep fried food will find them delicious to eat.
