  • Miyazaki was a popular destination for Japanese tourists and honeymooners up until the 80’s. Many flocked to the sunny southern land seeking the natural wonders of its tropical weather. Tourist numbers have dropped off over the years, but this just means you’ll have to battle fewer crowds to enjoy it. Having one of the best surf beaches in Japan, as well as its palm tree tropical vibe, make Miyazaki a rejuvenating and fun tourist location. The city is growing in popularity amongst foreign travelers and is relatively easy to get around.
