Access guide for getting to USJ from Shin-Osaka Station / Kansai Airport

Start from "Shin-Osaka Station" which is a Shinkansen stop in Osaka.
There is no direct train from Shin-Osaka Station to Universal City Station, so you need to transfer at Osaka Station once.


-From Shin-Osaka Station to Osaka Station

First, take the JR Tokaido Sanin Main Line at Shin-Osaka station and head to Osaka Station which is one station away. (Time required: about 5 minutes / fare 160 yen)

Shin-Osaka Station to Osaka Station

Once you enter the JR Osaka ticket gate at Shin-Osaka Station, proceed to platform 7・8. All trains leaving from Platform 7・8 stop at Osaka Station, so you can jump on the first train that comes.

-Osaka Station to Universal City Station

Next, get on the JR Osaka Loop Line at Osaka station and head to Universal City station (Time required: about 10 minutes / fare 220 yen). Since the train goes straight to Universal City station, it's quite convenient.

When you arrive at Osaka Station, proceed to the 1・2 platform for the JR Osaka Loop Line. The train for Universal City Station is at platform 1.

Be careful during 12:00 to 15:00.

There is no train going from Osaka Station to Universal City during this period (12-15). That's why you'll need to transfer once at Nishikujo Station.

Get on the JR Osaka Loop line at Osaka station and get off at Nishikujo Station. Then take the JR Sakurajima Line to Universal City Station. (Time required: about 10 minutes / fare 220 yen)

Osaka Station ～ Nishikujo Station ～ Universal City Station

At Nishi-Kujo Station, the train arrives at platform 4, so change to the adjacent platform 3 and take the train that goes to Universal City station. There is no need to go down escalators or anything, so the transfer is smooth and convenient.

Nishikujo Station

From Kansai Airport, you can go to USJ by train or limousine bus. Choose the one that is most convenient for you (price, size of your luggage, etc).

-Train

If you take a train from Kansai Airport Station, you can get there quickly by taking the limited express or express train. There are many routes to choose from, however, we will introduce the route that is the quickest with the least amount of transfers.

At Kansai Airport Station take the JR Kansai Airport Rapid train and get off at Nishikujo station. Then like before, change trains and head to Universal City Station.

Osaka Station ～ Nishikujo Station ～ Universal City Station

-Limousine bus

You can go directly to USJ if you use the Limousine Bus from Kansai Airport. If you have a lot of luggage, the limousine bus is recommended. (Time required: approx. 1 hour 10 minutes / fare 1550 yen)
