Sumamry/Description
The Summary/Description field represents the area by which you must give a summary and/or description of your RPG. This is a very big part of your form submission. Don't forget it! This Summary/Description field MUST include at least TWO PARAGRAPHS, FIVE COMPLETE SENTENCES PER PARAGRAPH, of a summary and/or description of your RPG. After giving your two paragraphs, you can add additional stand-alone sentences if you like, such as a concluding sentence at the very end that isn't connected to a paragraph, but which gives a finishing touch for the reader as something to look forward to. An error message will be sent if you fail to fill out this field correctly or if your paragraph(s) were too unreadable to be corrected. You do, however, have seven days after the error message is sent to correct the field and email the corrected summary/description. Though, if seven days pass, you will have to resubmit your registration form, since after seven days, your original form is discarded. Your summary/description should be what you want to display on your RPG Profile page. All Twilightus Community RPGs are given a profile page where people can visit and find out what your unique RPG is about. Use this as an opportunity to explain the theme, genre, storyline, unique concepts, what people can do, what makes your RPG special, background history, synopsis, main characters, and anything else you think might be important for people to generally know. It's really all about your RPG. Also, try to write your summary/description in third-person point-of-view! Try not to write it as if you were directly talking to us or from your own personal perspective. Try to write it from an objective point of view in order to focus in on the highlights of your new RPG. Otherwise, if your submission is in first or second-person point-of-view, it is likely to be rejected for subjectiveness. Try to make it more about your RPG rather than about you (such as how you came up with the great name, where your inspiration came from, or other things like that). Make the point objective! Try to make your summary/description in present-tense, as if you already had your forum. Don't write it in future tense with a bunch of "will have"s or "will be"s. Make it applicable to the present! Write "has" instead of "will have" or "is" instead of "will be". This is another important part of your submission! Be sure to use the best possible spelling and grammar when submitting your summary. Remember that play-by-post role playing games, such as the one you are creating, are entirely based on text and words. Spelling, grammar, sentence fluency, sentence structure, descriptive words, and mastery of the English language are musts when building your own world. Try not to use poor spelling or grammar, phrases, run-on sentences, sentences that don't flow well, or ideas, concepts, and sentences that just don't make sense. Even use a text editor such as Microsoft Word if it helps! Take this into consideration when writing your public introduction so that visitors can appreciate your work and acknowledge that they are entering a realm of great creativity coupled with the best of English ability. This really gives a first look at how good you are at English and creative writing. Make it as neat and perfect as you possibly can! Your summary/description will be proof-read, revised, and edited before being added to your RPG Profile page. Despite this, you really want to try to make a good impression with Twilightus Management and show that you are indeed capable of writing two or more complete paragraphs and are educated enough to run a text-reliant role playing game. If you're not able to successfully do this, you're probably not going to be very successful in running a text-based RPG! The longer and better your summary/description is, the better Twilightus Management and others will view you and your RPG and the more your RPG will be considered as a thoroughly thought-out, well-built site.
