There comes a time in every world that the extraordinary happens. But what happens when that spectacular event hits eight different worlds at once? Just what becomes of eight different worlds when each is struck by a magical event that pulls them all together? Something so extreme that those worlds will never truly be the same again… I’ll tell you what happens; The story of Final Fantasy: The New Home begins.

Once there were many great worlds, each residing on a different plane living alongside each other in perfect unison. But one by one, these worlds fell into danger and appeared to be lost forever, until several of the people and creatures upon them came together and defeated the evil, restoring their world’s peace. The fate of the worlds was forever to be turbulent, pain and suffering thrown at them from all angles, yet the heroes though on and with their strength, created a new hope. The magic that kept the worlds in balance with each other was affected by each battle won and each war waged but still it stood strong. For if the magic was affected drastically… something unspeakable would happen.
There was one man, not belonging to any of these worlds – a being born of the darkness of corrupted hearts – who decided to take the magic as his own… with disastrous consequences.
The words were once more thrown into turmoil, the very existence of life upon them in the balance. The heroes came together once more, yet how could they fight an enemy they could not even locate? How could they battle a beast born from the darkness of their own corrupting hearts? How does one go about waging war against something that could live within oneself?
As the warriors stood waiting for their enemy to show himself, each of the worlds was thrown in a blanketing shadow. Darkness reigned for many months, until there was an almighty tearing sound, like the earth itself had ripped apart…
When the darkness lifted, the worlds had merged together. The warriors were unharmed, yet as they cast their eyes over this new word, a strong sense of foreboding washed over them. Their enemy was nowhere to be seen. Did he even exist? Had he died when the worlds collided? None of them knew…
