Harex is in turmoil. War is imminent. The wizards, witches, elves, nymphs, and humans all turned on each other after the murder of elf-human King Limerick and witch-nymph Queen Genevieve. The murderer was a deformed and deranged elf-dwarf with no name. Sneaking into the castle, he set it ablaze and vanished. Every ethnic group but the dwarves were blamed for the incident. The dwarves got off because none lived in the realm of Harex.
When human General Lartan took the throne thereafter, he promptly ordered the elves and nymphs exterminated. He also bribed the many witches and wizards to remain on his side. Though, almost half of the witches and wizards opposed him anyways. At any point, war could have broken loose between the two groups. Then suddenly, in an unexpected turn of events, General Lartan was murdered. Would there still be a war? The elf lord, Plontius, heir to the throne, is now in danger of being assassinated by the supporters of the human Tarn, the son of Lartan. Tarn wants the throne for himself, but Plontius should recieve it by right. Who should win?
