Ashikaga Fireworks Festival
Event
The Ashikaga Fireworks Festival is a historic and traditional classic of Tochigi Prefecture. With around 20,000 explosions of fireworks, you can anticipate seeing a large variety of firework sets including special effect fireworks, 12 inch shells, long Niagara Falls, and starmines. The easily accessible viewing area is just a five-minute walk from the Ashikaga Station on the JR Ryomo Line. Many of the nearby public buildings' parking areas will be made available for free. The grand finale highlights the festival with a double-tiered Niagara Falls together with a big starmine display. With over 300,000 spectators annually, it is the preeminent festival in the Kanto region.
